Doug Shepherd and Joe Andreini were first car on stage at Ojibwe '88 in their new Dodge Daytona. They finished third overall. Bill Holmes / Jean Lindamood rocket from the start of the stage throwing rooster-tails from their Ford F-150. Bruno Kreibich and Clark Bond rocket into the first turn in their Audi Quattro. Paul Choinere won his first Ojibwe Pro Rally in 1988. Scott Weinheimer was his co-driver that year.
Chuck VanDamme / Thomas VanDamme leave the start of an afternoon stage in their Mazda RX-3. Tom Gillespie found Tim Winker as a last minute co-driver in his SAAB 99 for '88 Ojibwe. Mike and Linda Winker prepare for grilling while working a start/finish control on West Steamboat Rd. Paul Choinere / Scott Weinheimer blast across the flying finish in their Audi Quattro.
Richard Kelsey filled in for Rod Millen in the Mazda 323GTX who was competing in Australia. Harry Ward was his navigator. Bill Holmes / Jean Lindamood took sixth overall in their Ford F-150. Dan Gilliland / Betty-Ann Gilliland took 8th overall, second in PGT in their Dodge Shadow. Niall Leslie / Brian Maxwell took 10th overall, 1st in P class in their Toyota Corolla GTS.
