Chuck VanDamme / Thomas VanDamme leave the start of an afternoon stage in their Mazda RX-3. Tom Gillespie found Tim Winker as a last minute co-driver in his SAAB 99 for '88 Ojibwe. Mike and Linda Winker prepare for grilling while working a start/finish control on West Steamboat Rd. Paul Choinere / Scott Weinheimer blast across the flying finish in their Audi Quattro.
Richard Kelsey filled in for Rod Millen in the Mazda 323GTX who was competing in Australia. Harry Ward was his navigator. Bill Holmes / Jean Lindamood took sixth overall in their Ford F-150. Dan Gilliland / Betty-Ann Gilliland took 8th overall, second in PGT in their Dodge Shadow. Niall Leslie / Brian Maxwell took 10th overall, 1st in P class in their Toyota Corolla GTS.
Tim O'Neil / Martin Headland took 7th overall, fourth in Gr. A, in their VW GTI. Guy Light / Jimmy Brandt took 11th overall, second in Production in their VW GTI. Henry Krolikowski / Cindy Krolikowski took 28th overall, 10th in PGT in their Dodge Omni. Spectator Safety Marshal Ralf Scharnowski leads spectators out of the stage.
