Richard Kelsey filled in for Rod Millen in the Mazda 323GTX who was competing in Australia. Harry Ward was his navigator. Bill Holmes / Jean Lindamood took sixth overall in their Ford F-150. Dan Gilliland / Betty-Ann Gilliland took 8th overall, second in PGT in their Dodge Shadow. Niall Leslie / Brian Maxwell took 10th overall, 1st in P class in their Toyota Corolla GTS.

Henry Krolikowski / Cindy Krolikowski took 28th overall, 10th in PGT in their Dodge Omni. Spectator Safety Marshal Ralf Scharnowski leads spectators out of the stage.
